Welcome to this week's edition of Uncrowded Strategies.
Here are my private notes on what I’m building, how I’m growing my family, and the weird things I’m doing to optimize my health this week as a semi retired in my 30s.
🧪 The Business Experiment
(Focus: Analyzing "Flops" via JSON)
Most creators obsess over their viral hits. They try to reverse-engineer success.
The Uncrowded Take: Success often has luck; failure has patterns.
I am building an AI system to analyze my worst performing videos, not just the winners. To do this, I am treating content creation as Data Engineering, not art.
The Workflow:
Extract: I use Google AI Studio to extract specific metadata from a video (Pacing, Hook type, Audio cues, Topic).
Format: I ask the AI to output this as a JSON profile (code format).
Database: I paste this JSON code into a Google Sheet alongside the stats for each video
Analyze: I feed the sheet back into the any LLMs (Gemini, Chatgpt, Claude etc…)
Prompt you can steal:
"You are an expert content strategist. Analyze this Google Sheet of content and its statistics to determine why some of my videos went viral, and others flopped.
Give me the principles, tactics, and strategies that I can follow to write my next script."
Seriously I’m even giving you the free prompt in my newsletter… you’re welcome ;)
The Goal: By building a database of "Code," the AI can mathematically tell me why a video flopped. If I can eliminate the recurring patterns of failure, the baseline quality of everything rises.
This week was tough. We live with my mother-in-law, and it’s such a blessing because she helps take care of our kids. But a conflict arose regarding my 5-year-old daughter.
The Context: My daughter has learned to manipulate the family hierarchy. When I set a new rule—that she must sleep in her own room to foster independence—she tried to bypass me by appealing to her grandmother.
The Conflict: When I went to enforce the rule, my mother-in-law intervened, insisting it was fine for the child to stay with her and even holding her. Words failed. So, I picked my daughter up and physically carried her to her room. My mother-in-law was so upset that she left the house and said we disrespected her.
The "Uncrowded" Conclusion: It was painful, but my wife and I are aligned. “I’m with you” she said…
We realized three things:
Honor ≠ Obey: Honoring our parents does not mean we must obey them, especially when we have our own household to run.
How we honor: We honor them by caring for them, giving them an allowance, and treating them with kindness.
The Hard Line: Honor should never come at the cost of your influence and authority within your own family.
My daughter now knows that in this house, Daddy has the final word. Take charge of your family as the head of the house, and as wives, support your husband, stand as ONE.
💰 The Portfolio
Action: Doing nothing. State: Standing still.
The market is euphoric, and there is a massive amount of "noise" incoming (Supreme Court decisions on US Tariffs, etc.).
The Principle: Signal vs. Noise When the market gets loud, I filter everything through this lens:
Signal (What I invest in): Strong fundamentals, healthy cash flow, manageable debt, growing revenue.
Noise (What I ignore): Tariffs, headlines, recession fears, short-term scares.
If the Signal hasn't changed, I don't care how loud the Noise gets. I am staying put. Chasing noise is how you stay poor.
🧬 The Protocol (Health & Weirdness)
The Hack: Mouth Taping.
If you aren't doing this yet, it is the highest ROI thing you can do for your sleep.
The Data: I have tested this over several years.
With Tape: Recovery and Sleep Scores go up.
Without Tape: Scores stagnate or drop.
Why? It forces nose breathing. Most of us default to mouth breathing during sleep, which ruins sleep quality and dehydrates us. Tape forces the body to rely on the nose, thereby engaging the diaphragm and deepening the sleep cycle. If you don’t tape your mouth when sleeping, you gotta try it tonight!
You’ll look weird though… but who cares if your sleep scores go up… right??
That’s it for this week. Straight value, no fluff. See you next week,

The Future of Shopping? AI + Actual Humans.
AI has changed how consumers shop by speeding up research. But one thing hasn’t changed: shoppers still trust people more than AI.
Levanta’s new Affiliate 3.0 Consumer Report reveals a major shift in how shoppers blend AI tools with human influence. Consumers use AI to explore options, but when it comes time to buy, they still turn to creators, communities, and real experiences to validate their decisions.
The data shows:
Only 10% of shoppers buy through AI-recommended links
87% discover products through creators, blogs, or communities they trust
Human sources like reviews and creators rank higher in trust than AI recommendations
The most effective brands are combining AI discovery with authentic human influence to drive measurable conversions.
Affiliate marketing isn’t being replaced by AI, it’s being amplified by it.
